The old Gods of Ireland were a warrior race called the Tuatha de Danann. They lived alongside men, fought battles for and against them, and were told to be two or three times the size of an ordinary man. As time went by their presence dwindled and they were thought to have taken up residence in the passage tombs and dolmens that dotted the land. After this fashion they became known as the Daoine Sidhe, the Good People or Faerie Folk of Ireland.
As mentioned in the Bardo of the Real, the Buddhist believe in six different transitional realms known as Bardos. These worlds can be accessed through meditation, but is described in imagery as being like a journey deep into the Earth. According to the Tibetan Book of the Dead, an auspicious realm for the reincarnation of the souls is the Bardo of the Gods. The Bardo of the Gods is a truly divine realm, where faeries, Gods, and UFOs all intermingle. But despite this the Gods and other inhabitants are almost driven demented with boredom. Existing so close to the source of all reality, but being unable to go beyond it they find themselves in a distinctly anti-climactic position; one which they regularly assuage by bouts of mischief, music, art and love-making.
While the realm of the Gods is a beautiful sight to behold it is not too dissimilar to our own world. This is because it is still a predominantly sense-based realm, like all of the lower realms of Samsara. When the Gods, faeries or aliens (as we call them) enter into our world, they can appear as beautiful, strange or terrifying creatures. As the ancient legends of Ireland suggest, these entities once lived alongside men and there is no reason to think that this will not happen again; in a couple of thousand years or so. It should be noted that, while our human perceptions divide the class of deities into Gods, faeries and aliens, no such distinction really exists.
The Gods routinely leave the Earth of their realm and travel in ships of light. If by chance a human can see beyond the bounds of this world and into the bardo of the Gods, they too will see these UFO-like craft, which are, as I have said, not distinct from faeries or the Gods themselves. It is interesting to note that the word 'bardo', as it appears in Tibetan Buddhism, is identical to the Irish word for poet. The bardos of Ireland were among the most well respected figures in the land, as their knowledge of the Gods and the history of mankind was unsurpassed, at the time.
It was while I was drifting through the sixth and last of the Bardos – that region we call Hell – that I was so in fear of my life and sanity that I reached for my copy of The Tibetan Book of Living and Dying. As soon as my fingers touched the pages, my mind was assailed of a vision of goblins, as they were imagined by Brian Froud for the movie Labyrinth. I could here them chattering; he has got it! he is going to read from it! etc. This closely mirrors what the goblins were saying in the darkened closet-world of the movie Labyrinth, just as Sarah was about to send her brother Toby to live with the Goblin king. I always wondered where that goblin realm existed, and now I know. It is in a dark in-between realm, a kind of observation point between our world and the next.
The goblins must have something to do with the mantras and prayers in the Tibetan Book of the Dead, which would make sense, as Tibetan Buddhism is historically understood to be a blend between Shamanism, and Indian Dharmatta. Traditionally, Shamanism is preoccupied by spirits and demons, and the luck or misfortune they often bring. So, I would suggest, if you want to read the poems and prayers of the Little People to go and read the Tibetan Book of Living and Dying.

THE BARDO OF THE REAL
On August 25th 2010, at about 3am, I noticed a bright star, due north, about eight degrees above the horizon. I had never seen a star in this region of the sky before, and with good reason, because the corporation lights of Dublin City would have generally drowned them out. Another thing that made me realise that this was not a star, was that after I had watched it for a while, I noticed it was moving slowly. Although it tracked across the sky in an Easterly direction, its movement was much too slow to be that of a plane.
The next night, just after dusk, I was climbing a mountain. When I stopped to take a rest I noticed the same bright light in the same location; above the lights of Dublin City. It floated up into the cloud layer, and remained there suspended, until another light drifted up to join it. I counted maybe three bright lights that behaved in this manner, all seemingly emerging from the Royal Dublin Society in Ballsbridge, some 15 kilometres distant from me.

I counted maybe three bright lights that behaved in this manner, all seemingly emerging from the Royal Dublin Society in Ballsbridge, some 15 kilometres distant from me.
Hallowe’en was only a few days away, and from my vantage point I could see the green sparkle of fireworks over the houses and rooftops of my hometown. With the relatively strict prohibition on fireworks observed in my country, a recent addition to the Hallowe’en night sky spectacle had been that of the Chinese Lanterns, which invarably glowed with a dull orange coloured flame. I could tell that these objects were not those lanterns for at least three reasons;
- The speed at which the first two objects ascended into the cloud layer and there subsequent, abrupt stop.
- A third light which hovered, maybe no more than a kilometre, above the city, before being joined by a fourth, which weaved around the other in a display of intelligence, speed and agility.
- Last of all, I observed a large craft composed of several lights, which I estimated to be at least the size of football field lift itself into the air and hover a hundred or more feet off the ground.
I had assumed that the Internet would be abuzz with similar reports of this UFO siting, but the lack of any forced me to take a different angle on the phenomenon. I believe that the craft were possibly ascending from the RDS to a larger craft in the upper atmosphere. A quick look at the RDS website will reveal that they are connected to the Freemasonic Traditions, and proud of it. In my opinion, the Secret Rites of Freemasonry connect to a world that is ordinarily invisible to us, and one that is filled with such wonders, as to perhaps prove unbelievable to the clouded judgement of the modern world.
The Mystery of the Cathedrals, by Fullcanelli, is considered to be one of the great works of alchemical study. Alchemy is a discipline veiled in symbols and riddles that the initiate must unravel to become adept in. One such riddle is the mystery of the silver star. It is said that once this riddle is understood, contemplation of the star which lead the three Wise Men to the birthplace of the Saviour, is given a new meaning.
'Now when Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judaea in the days
of Herod the king, behold, there came wise men from the east to
Jerusalem, saying, Where is he that is born King of the Jews? for
we have seen his star in the east, and are come to worship him.
'Then Herod, when he had privily called the wise men, enquired
of them diligently what time the star appeared. And he sent them
to Bethlehem, and said, Go and search diligently for the young
child: and when ye have found him bring me word again, that I
may come and worship him also.
'When they had heard the king, they departed; and, lo, the star,
which they saw in the east, went before them, till it came and stood
over where the young child was.
'When they saw the star, they rejoiced with exceeding great joy.
And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child
with Mary his mother, and fell down and worshipped him; and
when they had opened their treasures, they presented him with
gifts : gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.'
Speaking of such strange happenings and faced with the
impossibility of attributing the cause of them to any celestial
phenomenon, A. Bonnetty, struck by the mystery which envelops
these narratives, asks :
'Who are these Magi and what is one to think of this star? That
is what rational critics and others are wondering at this moment.
It is difficult to reply to these questions, because ancient and modem
Rationalism and Ontologism, drawing all their knowledge from
their own resources, have made one forget all the means by which
the ancient peoples of the East preserved their primitive traditions.'
The star which led the Magi to the cave at Bethlehem, as
St. Chrysostom tells us, came to rest, before dispersing, on the
Saviour's head and surrounded him with luminous glory.
I will stress this point, although I am sure that few will thank me
for it: we are truly concerned with a nocturnal star, whose light
shines without great brightness at the pole of the hermeric sky.
(excerpts from La Mystere des Cathedrales, by Fulcanelli.)
The star-like objects that I saw on October 25th and 26th were located in a direction due North; the pole of the hermetic sky. Furthermore, the independent motion of these stars permits, and therefore lends credence, to the strange accounts of the Magi. The difference in reports is one of semantics, for while ‘the primitive traditions’ of the ancient peoples of the East percieved this light as a star, we in the West would unflinchingly refer to it as a UFO. This suggestion concurrs with Erich von Daniken’s and William Brambley’s research into the possibility that alien technological intervention was behind the reports of miracles and visions from aposalitic times. While Brambley suggested that these creatures were purely extra-terrestrial, von Daniken assumed that they might, just as well, be us from the future.
A third solution to this problem, comes from Tibetan Mysticism or Buddhism. The Buddhists believe that there are six worlds (or bardos) which combine to make up the world of Samsara. These are; the realm of the Gods, the Monsters, Mankind, the animals, hungry ghosts and Hell. It should be noted that the world of Mankind and the world of animals overlap, on a day to day basis. We look after animals and use them for food. This overlap suggests the possibility that the six worlds of Samsara can be reduced to just three; something that Indian religious belief systems would appear to agree with.
The range, and differing types, of senses that exist between the world of man and the animal world is enormous. The sensitivity of animals has even lead some to speculate that they can sense the presence of spirits, and of the departed. The findings of the paranormalists and spiritualists down through the ages would suggest that the realm of the spirits is, indeed, superimposed upon ours. If this is the case, then our world must be similarly superimposed upon the bardo of the Gods and the Monsters; also known as the Demi-Gods. Therefore, the six worlds are reduced to three, and finally to one.
If the Bardo of the Gods and demi-Gods is one with our world then why do we not experience them? Well we do. As I have already pointed out in previous posts, the Bardo of the demi-Gods/Monsters corresponds to the world of celebrity and public figures. These people are generally considered to be the most beautiful, talented and influential amongst us. Wherever they go, people recognize them and greet them as such. For this reason, their perception of the world, in general, is much more skewed than ours. Just as we look after animals––and even eat them––the Monsters try to keep us entertained and well-fed. Their attempts are not always in our best interests however e.g. global corporate capitalism, and some times it is necessary for the Gods to come down to our world and take matters into their own hands.
While we can be found to interact with the worlds of Monsters and animals on a daily basis, it is seldom the case where the Bardo of the Gods is concerned. This is because it is slightly farther removed from us. Although we walk past these people, who are considered Gods, in the street, we fail to recognise them for the shining beauty that they exude, and as such take no notice of their Godly status. These people are always impecably well-dressed and are usually Oriental; in my experience. They can be seen at night sort of bumbling around, whilst chuckling or smiling quietly to themselves. This is because they are continuously intoxicated with a love for the world. Their reality is not too far removed from that of the faeries, and, in fact, I would go as far as to say it is the same thing.
So, on the issue of the Bardos, what we are dealing with here is degrees of wordly perception. In the same way that animals have senses, which are atuned to the Bardo of the Hungry Ghosts, we can atune our senses to the Bardo of the Gods. When this happens, we can begin to percieve the UFOs that are departing from all the major cities of the world on a daily basis. The gods might be boarding craft to other star systems, or they might, as I believe, be transforming themselves into plasmic balls of energy to travel the etheric realms of space. This tallies well with the Theosophical description of faeries, who are said to be able to exist in an astral or ethereal state, which commensurably helps bind the physical properties of our reality together.
But, if all of these different realities exist, where do they exist and how is it possible to get to them? The answer to both of these questions is; In the mind. The gateway to all of these worlds can be found in the hyperbolic geometry of the human mind. From a mechanical/materialist viewpoint, we can equate the six different bardos to the six cellular layers of the neocortex, which all mammals possess. By passing through each of these different neocortical layers, our consciousness can travel all the way from the realm of the Gods, to the truly terrifying Bardo of Hell. This action is known as piercing the three worlds; in Indian methodology.
In the psychology of the human mind, there exists worlds within worlds, like layers of an onion. This incontrovertible reality is the basis for such myths as the Hollow Earth theory, the Underground world of the dead, and of the faerie, as well as the basis for the fabled Buddhist holy land of Shangri La.
The Inland Empire spoken of in David Lynch’s eponymous film, is similarly not a geographical area, but a state of mind. As an advocate of Trancendental Medititation, Lynch’s own practice may have taken him on a journey to the realms he has described, a place filled with wonder and with horror, a place where life and death flow into one another like the curves of a Klein Bottle.
What all this means, in real terms, is that the occupants of the UFOs are not necessarily extra-terrestrial, but are rather us, existing on a different dimensional density, where the ability to transform one’s own physical form into pure energy––and thereby travel the solar system––is attainable.* The fact that these ‘craft’ appear to be departing from the RDS – an organisation affiliated with the Freemasons – suggests to me, that the Gods are likely to be high-ranking initiates of these Orders. This is part of the secret the Mystery Schools have held onto for so long, and the reason why they are to be respected, and not feared so, overmuch.
* Perhaps it was this information that the Gypsies were referring to, when they annotated a copy of Jessup’s A Case for the UFO back in 1957. There is no denying that the Gypsies are a powerful race of people, with a deep understanding of the esoteric laws that govern reality. It is among the people of these traditions and dindling populace who still know cant, like the Shelta people of Ireland, where a true (nomadic and warrior-like) understanding of the world can be sought.

THE HOST
Save the Cows. Save the Cows.
Those who have experienced the mind-altering effects of Salvia Divinorum sometimes report the sensation of being devoured by an unseen force. This parries very well with Phillip K Dick’s description of what the Plasmate is doing to this Universe. The plasmate is “a highly evolved ultra-terrestrial lifeform, a UTI, or an extra-terrestrial lifeform (an ETI) which had come here at some time in the past.” The plasmate has an innate symbiotic relationship with humans, "it travels up the optic nerve to the human pineal body. It uses the human brain as a female host.”
Horselover Fat, the main character in PKD’s Valis, percieved, just as Plato did, a ‘streak of irrationality in the world soul.’ The plasmate, is God, an ultra-rational being sent here to liberate humanity from the grip of Samsara (the Black Iron Prison).
Throughout the ages, humans always considered themselves to be top of the foodchain. But this claim was based on the incomplete data of scientists and natural philosophers, who – throughout the ages – have failed to recognise the plasmate, as it was ‘set to ground’ i.e. camouflaged.
The plasmate has the habit of moving things to get our attention; this is sometimes known as becoming ‘quick’ or the quickening. Never forget that whatever it moves, it is also the thing moving, while being under the presumed force of gravity. The plasmate is also capable of making noises, which are typically alien sounding, and not unlike the fast-paced sonar clicks of a dolphin.
After the plasmate has crossbonded with a human, the human being is well on the road to becoming enlightened. One can read enlightened texts and truly understand what is written there, because the veil of ignorance that is Samsara, has been lifted. In this way, the experience of becoming a Homoplasmate is not unlike that of receiving a pair of those sunglasses in that John Carpenter’s movie, called They Live.
Stories to do with changelings and people being stolen away to faerie realms are, likewise, related to the case of the plasmate, which appears to substitute itself for your total reality.

This parries very well with Phillip K Dick’s description of what the Plasmate is doing to this Universe.
On page 126 of Valis, PKD says of the plasmate;
Fat came to the conclusion that it had invaded our universe; and a year later he realized that it was consuming – that is devouring – our universe.
So you see there, the similarities between the Salvia plant and the plasmate. But what form does this devouring take?
In a startling response to the crisis, the true God mimics the universe, the very region he has invaded: he takes on the likeness of sticks and trees and beer cans in gutters – he presumes to being trash discarded debris no longer noticed.
He goes onto say;
Lurking the true God literally ambushes reality and us as well. God, in very truth, literally attacks and ambushes us in his role as antidote. As Fat can testify to, it is a scary experience to be bushwhacked by the Living God.
Being ‘bushwhacked’ by a Salvia trip in the form of the Creator is terrifying, as well!
Normally it remained camouflaged. Normally when it appeared no one could distinguish it from ground – set to ground, as Fat correctly expressed it.
He had a name for it. Zebra. Because it blended. The name for this is mimesis. Another name is mimicry. Certain insects do this; they mimic other things: sometimes other insects – poisonous ones – or twigs and the like. Certain biologists and naturalists have speculated that higher forms of mimicry might exist, since lower forms – which is to say, forms which fool those intended to be fooled but not us – have been found all over the world.
A zebra is a member of the horse family and, as such, is loved by Horselover Fat. However, its black and white hide associates it with another animal; that of the Fresian Cow. Just like the plasmate, a cow takes a number of days to digest its food. This is because it must pass its food through a number of different stomaches. In terms of the plasmate, each of these stomaches is a different state of perception that, in turn, reveal different worlds. These are the worlds of the Tibetan Bardos, which placed in order are; the realm of the Gods, the monsters, humans, animals, hungry ghosts and Hell.
The world (read universe) is in the process of becoming an organism not unlike a giant cow; Vishnu. The knowledge that the universe is in some way bovine, is encoded in the name for our Galaxy the Milky Way, which in India was referred to as the “Ocean of Milk”. The word ‘galactic’ itself comes from the Greek ‘lacto’ meaning of milk.
Throughout the ages, humans always considered themselves to be top of the foodchain. But this claim was based on the incomplete data of scientists and natural philosophers, who – throughout the ages – have failed to recognise the plasmate, as it was ‘set to ground’ i.e. camouflaged.
If you have ever seen something flickering out of the corner of your eye, that invariably stops moving when you turn to look at it, then you too have encountered the plasmate. In fact, as PKD says, coke cans, dead leaves, and pretty much anything else you are likely to see whilst walking around, is credibly the plasmate in disguise.
In its natural state, the plasmate is white in colour and looks, and moves just like a bird. It has an arrow shaped-head, not unlike that of a frog, although it has no distinguishable eyes or mouth. The plasmate has a small round torso, not much bigger than its head, out of which unfold four limps that are made of a thin, convex, flexible material, that tapers sharply to a point; sort of like a banana peel. It can contort these in the manner of its choosing to produce the desired camouflage effect. These curved appendages are undoubtedly what gives the creature the likeness of a bird; and in particular that of a white dove. PKD calls the plasmate the Holy Spirit, and this is why the Holy Spirit is described as being a white dove in Christian belief. In fact, if you recall, many of the early, naive representations of the Holy Ghost are not of a dove at all, but are conform more accurately to what I have just described.
When the plasmate is shapeshifting, it will fold its papery arms gracefully, and quickly solidify into its chosen form. Be aware that you are actually watching this process in reverse, as time for the plasmate runs in the opposite direction; although its thinking is along the same lines as ours. This is how it always remains, "one step ahead."
Although this description of the plasmate will suffice, it should be remembered that it can take any form, and be of any colour – so it may not be that useful after all.
Sen is assailed by shikigami in the form of paper birds
(the plasmate) in Hayao Miyazaki's 2001; Spirited Away.
In the movie, a tyrannous race of decrepit aliens have secretly invaded earth. Electro-magnetic mind control signals, broadcasted through TV transmitters, conceal their unsightly appearance from the human population. Special eye-glasses developed by the human resistance reveal the alien interlopers true visage, as well as an array of subliminal messages hidden in advertisements and magazines, whose soul purpose is to keep the population in a sleep-like state.
The plasmate grafts itself onto the human pineal gland; the third eye, or anja, and allows us to see things as they really are. This is why I used the ‘metaphor’ of the Perspective eyeglasses in the last post. On page 81 of Valis PKD writes;
Men and the world are mutually toxic to each other. But God – the true God – has penetrated both, penetrated man and penetrated the world, and sobers the landscape. But that God, the God from outside, encounters fierce opposition. Frauds – the deceptions of madness – abound and mask themselves as their mirror opposite: and pose as sanity. The masks, however, were thin and the madness reveals itself. It is an ugly thing.
Just as the rational perception of the Plasmate gives us knowledge of the enlightened truths to be found in the Sacred Texts, it also gives us knowledge of the foul poison being pumped daily through the world’s media system. This excerpt from the Aisling Art Copy No. 11, deals with the Perspective eye wear detailed in the last post;
Special eye-wear with lenses comprised of nano-particles of a clear steel compound were developed to train the mind to see using both eyes at the same time. This allows people to see in 4D, an extention of our 3.5 D reality. An awareness of 4D reality allows us to see and hear what is normally invisible to us.
Not only can we see what is really going on, but we can also hear it. This creates a certain amount of discomfort for the fledgling Homoplasmate, who is bombarded by not only the visual, but also the audio, excrement of society that, in PKD’s words, is truly ‘an ugly thing.’ It is for these reasons that I place the world of celebrity, and media personalities, firmly in the bardo of the Monsters (also known as demi-Gods).
The subject of media is too massive to be broached successfully here. But I will say, that the purpose of Media is to foster a distracted, psychotic, and uncaring society. A healthy society is more difficult to control than a sick society, and the method of control is that of ‘fear’ and ‘hope’. Fear – whether of financial collapse, prison, sex offenders etc. – makes people want to conform, and their reward for good behaviour is the hope of attaining the lifestyle of pre-packaged consumerism. An inferior trade off.
But before you go and despair remember; They are only monsters, and as humans we are in a far better position to fend off these attacks than you might think.
In Carlos Castenaeda’s The Art of Dreaming, Don Juan says that the reason people die is to escape capture from an entity who is infinitely more long-lived than themselves. The implication here being, that if people lived any longer, this entity might take direct notice of them; and capture, devour or enslave them.
Jesus forsaw not only his own death but that of all Homoplasmates.
Because the plasmate had once belonged to Christ, and because the Holy Grail, which contained the blood of Christ, was said to bestow the gift of eternal life, the plasmate and the Holy Grail must be considered as one and the same thing. The Hermetic Orders of the Middle Ages were intimately involved in discovering the secrets of the Holy Grail. In their efforts, the alchemists sought the council of extra-terrestrial beings from the Sirius Binary Star System. PKD says that they were unable to contact these beings, but that the formula was rediscovered with the recovery of the plasmate in dormant seed form at the cave of Nag Hammadi.
The plasmate might, therefore, be a bio-engineered creature from the Sirius Star System, or it might be an indigenous creature to that region; held in as much high esteem there, as it later would be here. If the Alchemists were looking for eternal life from the Plasmate however, they would have to think again…
From PKD’s tractate;
#12. The Immortal One was known to the Greeks as Dionysos; to the Jews as Elijah; to the Christians as Jesus. He moves on as each human host dies, and thus is never killed or caught. Hence Jesus on the cross said, ‘Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani,’ to which some of those present correctly said, ‘The man is calling on Elijah.’ Elijah had left him and he died alone.
‘Eli, lama sabachthani,’ can be more correctly translated as ‘My God, why have you foresaken me?’ So anyone hoping to be saved by this means, needs to seriously reappraise their thinking.
Handbanana, (plasmate archetype).
While a benign invasion by a rational entity into our Universe might sound good on paper, the reality is anything of the sort. If the plasmate crossbonds with your brain, it has access to all of your thoughts, memories, aspirations and desires. If it is capable of replicating any object it chooses, then it is also capable of replicating your entire reality; and this includes your own body.While this partnership may provide the up-shot of being able to parse previously veiled Sacred Texts, it also raises a number of philosophical dilemmas, such as; Is the world I see, the same one that you see? And, more importantly, how do I know that the world is not an illusion, generated by the plasmate, and that I am not utterly alone?
As I writer, I feel it is my duty to investigate the world and report back the information to whomever cares to listen. Now that I finally have something worthwhile to say, there is no guarantee that those of you stuck in the Black Iron Prison of Samsara will parse the information correctly, or that any of you even exist to read it at all! The plasmate might just as easily intercept my outward going signals and feed me whatever information, comments, insults, it wants back in my direction, to keep me under the illusion that reality outside still exists; if, indeed, it ever did.
But since I have nothing better to do with my time, I will continue to write in the hopes that another Homoplasmate, or compassionate soul, will pick up on it and deliver me the answer.
Christianity refers to Jesus Christ as the Host, and this is the name of the bread, which in the Catholic Religion, serves as his body. In an earlier post I related how, Christ’s body might have been host to an alien creature, whose aim was to sublimate the population of Earth into a hive mind; thereby bringing about world peace. There are few things more disagreeable, to an individual’s world view, than the prospect of living in a world where there exists but one overriding consciousness, and one where this consciousness insists on everything being rosy and agreeable. If you can’t quite picture what I am talking about, think of the scene in Being John Malkovich where John Malkovich climbs into his own head, and you won’t be too far off the reality. Intriguingly, this movie also dealt with the idea of cheating death by occupying another person’s body. For most of my life, I opposed the mayor in Ghostbusters 2, when he said, ‘Being pissed off and miserable is every New Yorkers God given right.’ Now, I am beginning to think he had a point.
It is better to reign freely in Hell, than to serve in Heaven.
Having said this; I think it is important to remember the things Jesus (and the other Homoplasmates) said, because they said some very fine things.
Stories of shapeshifting creatures from other worlds abound in human folklore. In every culture, across the globe, there are stories of the little people, who cast spells, make mischief, and change their shape at will. In Ireland and Britain, these creatures are known as the Faerie. Bands of Faerie are known collectively as the Host. To come into contact with this enchanted world can be a great boon, but it can just as easily be a curse. That is why it is important to be aware of the old Traditions and Customs, and not to let them die. For instance, be careful what kind of flora you touch and especially what kind you bring into the home, as these can be laden with faerie magic. Iron is useful to ward off faeries of all kinds, so carry a nail in your pocket, or keep a horse-shoe above your door. Red string wrapped around a Rowan twig is said to be particularly effective, as well.
Although you may have noticed that I am comparing the Holy Ghost to the Host of Faerie, for some reason it is said that the Bible and a crucifix are also powerful deterants where faeries are concerned. This may very well be to do with the complex and contradictory nature of the Faerie, as well as that of Mankind and his Religions.
Stories to do with changelings and people being stolen away to faerie realms are, likewise, related to the case of the plasmate, which appears to substitute itself for your total reality.
The plasmate is known variously, as Valis, Zebra and the Logos; meaning the Word. Since the plasmate is of extra-terrestrial origin, might not William Burroughs have been referring to it when he said, ‘Language is a virus from Outer Space.’ As with PKD, contraction of the plasmate causes severe mental illness, from the point of view of Samsara society. Outwardly, the patient becomes withdrawn, typically locking themselves in their rooms, where they spend hours if not days, reciting prays and writing volumes upon volumes of source material. This source material has been transmitted to them by the plasmate. PKD compiled his Tractate in this manner, and possibly a great many other scriptural works were compiled in this manner, also.
If language is a virus; and the plasmate is language, then, isn’t it possible that just by reading PKD’s Valis you might already be on your way to contracting the disease? If so, someone should put a health warning on that book. Oh wait, they did! in the form of a review from the Washington Post;
“It is about madness,
pain, deception, death,
obsessive delusory
states of mind, cruelty,
solitude, imprisonment,
and it is a joy to read.” (On Second thoughts, perhaps not.)
But to be fair to this situation, the Holy Spirit is you, your consciousness, and the world of which you are conscious. It could no more invade your consciousness than a yolk could invade an egg, or a snail could invade its own shell. The only difference is; it is you without apology, and you without regret. We have been brought up to believe, through our Church and representatives, that God is some straitlaced, stale biscuit-eating madman, who only wants to put a halt to things. But its not that. God is you, you without the bullshit. He is a cool motherfucker that wants exactly what you want. So look him up, sometime. Peace.
P.S. Sri Chinmoy, a great Indian mystic, took to making drawings of the human spirit, many years before his death in 2007. Each one of these birds is said to represent a different part of the human soul. Before his death he had drawn close to 58,000 of them. Each one is a different aspect of the Holy Spirit.
