Fragment 8.

8. Every situation that you can possibly find yourself in has an appropriate internal mental state attached to it. This mental state has its origins within the Godhead. This means that all external situations are merely aspects of the Godhead. As 'aspects' are an attribute of geometry, and Geometry is again related to God, we must determine that these internal and external states (being one and the same) lie along trajectories which are angled and measured equally. As Socrates said; But although you are a philosopher you seem never to have observed that geometric equality is mighty, both among Gods and men; you think that you ought to cultivate inequality or excess, and do not care about geometry.
